Our mission is to provide compassionate care that helps each woman achieve her best self. Established in 1998, Women’s Health Center (WHCOSO) has grown from a practice of just two physicians and an office administrator to a dedicated, experienced provider team, including physician surgeons, advanced practice providers, certified ultrasound technicians, and an accomplished administration team leading a highly trained support staff. Our practice specializes in providing comprehensive women’s health care that is delivered with sincere concern and compassion from adolescence through a woman’s lifespan. At our offices in Grants Pass and Ashland, we provide expert care for any type of gynecological problem as well as preventive care and education. Our providers partner with you to ensure that you receive personalized treatment that will help you maintain and enjoy a healthier lifestyle.
In our Grants Pass office, WHCOSO also offers a full range of obstetrical services, including complete prenatal and post-partum care. Our state-of-the-art technology and advanced techniques ensure that you and your baby receive optimal care that is second to none in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. The practice has been awarded a Safety Certification in Outpatient Practice Excellence (SCOPE) for Women’s Health certification. SCOPE is a safety-focused program of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). We are the only certified office in Southern Oregon and among the first in the country to be awarded this prestigious certification. Additionally, our ultrasound department is the only one certified by the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine in both gynecologic and obstetric specialties in Josephine County. All of our sonographers are also AIUM-certified technicians.
