Originally named St. Louis Comprehensive Neighborhood Health Center, the organization emerged as a training facility for healthcare professionals in the primarily African-American community of North St. Louis City in 1969.
As we continue to grow and expand our services today, we focus on our mission of providing comprehensive, affordable healthcare to the medically underserved populations in the St. Louis community.
In 2018, Myrtle Hilliard Davis Comprehensive Health Centers, Inc. rebranded to CareSTL Health as part of an initiative to reach new patients and further support the existing patient population the health center serves.
