EXCELth, Incorporated is dedicated to improving the health of underserved New Orleans and Baton Rouge communities by bringing high-quality, affordable primary care to everyone who needs it regardless of their ability to pay for services.
EXCELth, Incorporated is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1991, governed by a consumer board of directors. EXCELth is funded as a Community Health Center by the Bureau of Primary Health Care, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and is designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). EXCELth operates the EXCELth Primary Care Network. This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
