The CNO:
- Directs and supervises professional nursing and support personnel rendering patient care services
- Plans and conducts conferences and discussions with administrative and professional nursing staff to develop departmental policies, promote initiative, solve problems, and interpret new regulations and procedures
- Coordinates activities of various hospital departments, promoting and maintaining harmonious relationships among nursing personnel, medical staff, patients, and the public
- Analyzes and evaluates nursing and related services to improve quality of patient care and plan better utilization of staff time and abilities
Qualifications:
- 5 yrs of RN experience
- BSN preferred
- Must obtain TX license
