Additional Information: Seeking a licensed Physician Assistant, Internal or Family Medicine and 1 of Hospital Medicine experience to work collaboratively with our Hospitalist Team.
Qualifications:
- 1-year experience required; 2-4 years preferred
- PA license
- BLS Certification
Responsibilities:
- Examining patients admitted to the ED
- Coordinating all tests, examinations, and treatments
- Interacting with primary care physician to develop treatment plans
- Maintaining hospital records and medications
- Arranging follow up care for patients once they leave the hospital
- Prescribing medications
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and family members.
