Additional Information: We are seeking a licensed Advanced Practice Nurse in Internal or Family Medicine and 1 year of Hospital Medicine experience to work collaboratively with our Hospitalist Team.
Requirements include:
- 1-year experience required; 2-4 years preferred
- Advanced Practice Nurse NJ State License
- BLS Certification
Responsibilities include:
- Examining patients admitted to the ED
Coordinating all tests, examinations and treatments
- Interacting with primary care physician to develop treatment plans
- Maintaining hospital records and medications
- Arranging follow up care for patients once they leave the hospital
- Prescribing medications
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and family members.
