Job Description

  • Hours: Flexible Schedule with 4-5 Day Work Week | Ideally 40 Hours Per Week | Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | 20% of hours will be spent as part of the mobile unit.

  • Additional Information:
    - Seeking a patient-centric physician with a passion for working with the homeless and underserved/underinsured in both a traditional clinic and a mobile-based setting.
    - Focus on prevention for those at risk for HIV, while creating programs to offer testing, counseling, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and referrals to community partners.
    - Actively collaborate with other onsite healthcare providers to ensure holistic & integrated patient care (primary care, dentistry, and mental health).
    - Coordinate patient care with other Sulzbacher Housing/Clinic departments with a focus on integrated care.
    - We do not prescribe controlled substances.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    - 2 years of experience prescribing in primary care preferred.
    - Infectious disease background preferred
    - Prior street outreach experience preferred
    - Must be willing to supervise mid-level practitioners.
    - Precepting experience preferred and willing to take students.
