Robeson Health Care Corporation is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) founded in 1985 to provide increased access to health care in rural areas of Robeson County, North Carolina. RHCC has seven conveniently located health centers in Columbus, Robeson, Scotland and Montgomery Counties. Each of the family practice centers is staffed by physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and licensed family nurses who work together to diagnose, treat, and medically manage acute, episodic, and chronic conditions. RHCC has been accredited by The Joint Commission since 1991.
Patient care is available by appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome. We accept and file all insurance including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicaid-Carolina Access, Medicare, Health Choice, and other insurance. Applications are available for a sliding fee scale. Our Billing Department and Eligibility Specialist are available for client assistance.

Fairmont is located in the southern part of Robeson County. The town has a population of 2,763, but the businesses and industries of the town actually draw upon a population between 25,000 and 30,000 from the communities surrounding the town. The population is a uniquely tri-racial mix of the African American, Native American and Caucasian races.
