Proyecto Salud Clinic has served Montgomery County's uninsured immigrant community since 1998 when it opened its doors. Along the years, the clinic has strived to fulfill its Mission “To outreach to the language minority community of Montgomery County and to improve the health status of this community through health services, health education, and disease prevention.” Thanks to that commitment the clinic has grown to serve more than 5,000 patients in its two locations in Wheaton and Olney.

It took the vision, compassion, and hard work of so many people — local community, founders, staff, and Board — to make such growth possible. Today, the commitment to quality healthcare and the visionary endeavors of founders Dr. Michael Morris and Ms. Pilar Mollish are kept alive by the clinic's staff and Board of Directors.

The ever increasing need for affordable healthcare delivered in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner has placed Proyecto Salud Clinic at the forefront of underserved care in the county. The clinic's multicultural and multilingual staff delivers this quality care with compassion and understanding.

We look forward to years of continuing growth and participation. We look forward to a stronger, healthier community for us all. We hope you will join us in our efforts.
