Our staff members share the goal of offering patients the best possible care, and we are using a new, innovative “home team” care approach. Around here, we believe good health care goes beyond just making someone better. It should help them be their best.

This is why Petaluma Health Center takes a refreshingly proactive approach to keeping our community healthy. Open, welcoming, inclusive, and comprehensive, PHC brings together a wide range of preventive and health sustaining resources. From the finest in traditional treatments to the most effective Western and alternative medicines.

Additional Community Information

Petaluma’s pastoral setting makes it seem like a million miles from bustling San Francisco but it’s really only 32 miles. Petaluma is the portal to Sonoma County, home to almost 65,000 acres of vineyards and more than 300 wineries.

The ancient redwoods make a spectacular backdrop for the lush scenery of the Russian River resort area. Explore the quaint towns along the river including Monte Rio, Rio Nido and Guerneville. Just a few miles from the Sonoma Coast, Armstrong Redwoods State Park is an 805-acre park offering hikers trails ranging from challenging inclines to serene and shady pathways, as well as picnic areas. Horses are available for rent for designated trails.

The thriving arts community extends into our historic downtown just a few blocks away where there are more than a dozen galleries as well as merchants offering exhibit space. Exhibitions range from handcrafted jewelry to paintings and sculpture by contemporary artists of local and often international renown. Many community events center around the arts such as the Second Saturday Art Walks during the spring and summer months where art aficionados have the opportunity to learn more about the artists from the gallery owners. As a testament to Petaluma's long-standing commitment to the arts, Walnut Park has been the setting for the annual Art in the Park exhibition for more than 50 years.
