Parkland’s Correctional Health Services provides high quality physical and behavioral health care services for inmates at Lew Sterrett – Dallas County Jail.
Patients at Dallas County Jail are served by our team of on-site medical providers, registered nurses, mental health liaisons, and pharmacists, among other clinical staff. We care for nearly 120,000 patients each year through services that include health screenings, diabetes management, dental care, HIV services and suicide prevention. We are the proud recipient of the Texas Hospital Association’s 2013 Excellence in Community Service Award for the health care services provided at the jail.
