The primary care physicians who founded New West Physicians were united by a vision of working together in a common structure with a shared purpose: To create a healthcare delivery system which simultaneously achieves optimal patient service and quality of care, while helping to make health care affordable for our patients. The City of Golden is located just 15 miles west of Denver, but is separated from the rest of the metro area by two stunning mesas and is nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Many major highways give drivers easy access to both the city and the mountains. The area offers outstanding outdoor recreation with biking, hiking and kayaking all available right in town. But Golden also offers a wonderful, small mountain town atmosphere with creekside restaurants, outdoor cafes, fine dining, art galleries, outdoor recreation shops, one-of-a-kind boutiques, quaint historic homes, and a variety of museums.
