Additional Information: Purpose of Position:
- Manage the operations of community screening during the COVID-19 pandemic
- Work in conjunction with Federal and State Public health officials in the management of epidemiological investigations, data tracking and analysis for individuals exposed to COVID-19
- Assist local schools, youth center, and child development center with pediatric health conditions and treatments
- Manage budget and procure supplies for the program
- Assist the Outpatient Supervisory Physician (OSP) to coordinate and conduct mass immunization programs
- Oversee department's budget, forecast needs, allocate resources, and/or take corrective action as necessary
Participate in Incident Command Committee, state of Alaska PHN, manage meetings and others as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred in Nursing or related field
- 5 years working as a Registered Nurse with public health nursing or related field
- 3 years supervisory in a leadership role in nursing
