Additional Information: The OB/GYN is responsible for providing medical care to women relating to pregnancy; responsible for treating, testing, diagnosing, and monitoring diseases and provides general care to women.
This position does not require OB procedures
Qualifications:
- MD/ DO Degree required.
- Licensed in the State of NY as an OB/GYN.
- DEA Certification required.
- Prior experience as an OB/GYN preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent independent judgment, problem-solving, analytical and collaborative skills to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, providing patient centered leadership and direction.
- Must have the emotional intelligence that may include, but not limited to, patience, sensitivity, and the compassion to work with patients that may be stressed, anxious, or challenging.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish highly regarded
- Must have strong computer skills.
- Must demonstrate detailed, effective writing/documentation and verbal skills.
