JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Develops, implements, and monitors clinical programs and services for the Department of Psychiatry, takes steps to improve patient care outcomes/services
-Communicates clearly with departmental leadership, faculty, and staff to outline roles,
responsibilities, and expectations and conduct annual performance reviews
-Ensuring compliance with all regulatory (JC, CMS, OMH, DOH) requirements and standards at all times
- Ensure effective management and resolution of department-specific patient complaints and critical events
-Maintains proper accreditations and licensing standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
-New York State license
-BE/BC in General Psychiatry or Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
-Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program
