  • Compensation: Compensation ranges from $125K to $475K depending on part-time or full-time hours worked.
    - Compensation plan gives consideration to your years of experience post-residency as well as specialty and sub-specialty board certifications.
    -Per diem opportunities also available

Provide direct care to patients experiencing mental health crises, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and consult with the main emergency department.     JOB DESCRIPTION:
    -Provide direct psychiatric assessment and treatment of patients
    -Function as an integral part of a collaborative team within the emergency department
    -Must possess a highly collaborative and proactive approach, and demonstrate commitment to high-quality, cost-effective healthcare

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    - New York State license
    - BE/BC in General Psychiatry
    - Strong teaching and leadership skills
    - Preference given to those with at least one-year post-residency clinical experience in an acute care psychiatric setting
