Compensation:
- New graduate salary starts at $32.25/hr; increases with experience
- $2.50 shift differential for nights, $2.50 shift differential for weekends
Additional Information: Perform direct patient/resident care & delegation to patient care technicians in providing care and comfort to the residents. Knowledge & compliance with all local, state, & federal regulations & guidelines relating to facility care will be maintained.
- Regularly assesses patient's needs & provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician authorized plan of care, & accepted standards of nursing practice
- Provides direct resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, assisting with transfers, responding to alarms, etc.
- Evaluates effectiveness of treatment plan & makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members, current information to improve patient care
- Processes physician/provider orders and performs physician ordered care
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree required; BSN preferred
- Basic Med/Surg knowledge to care for general surgical & orthopedic surgical patients
