  • Additional Information: At Marin Community Clinics we are a 'family helping other families in the community.' The general purpose of the Behavioral Health Provider (BHP) is to minimize psychosocial stressors that have a negative impact on patient health, promote patient resilience, and to assist medical providers in understanding patient needs and developing a holistic treatment plan.

    - Works as a member of the primary care team to provide biopsychosocial assessments, brief psychotherapy, education, referrals, short term psychotherapy, and consultation ('warm handoffs') for patients presenting with 'mild to moderate' behavioral health concerns.
    - Opportunity to work with patients across the lifespan and with a wide variety of clinical presentations.
    - May also be asked to develop and/or facilitate psycho-educational support groups; and may conduct visits via virtual telehealth technology.
    - Welcomed as part of the primary care team as well as supported by the behavioral health department.
