Additional Information: Provide quality clinical mental health consultation to providers and staff as requested; and provide comprehensive diagnostic mental health assessments, interventions, education, referrals, and consultations for patients in the primary care setting.
Qualifications:
- LCSW CA license
- Bilingual preferred, languages Punjabi, Portuguese and Spanish
- Current practices and techniques in psychotherapeutic treatment, especially Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Excellent working knowledge of evidence-based treatments for medical and behavioral health conditions
- Ability to work through brief patient contacts as well as to make quick and accurate clinical assessments of mental and behavioral conditions
- Comfortable with the pace of primary care, working with an interdisciplinary team
- Has good knowledge of psycho-pharmacology
- Has the ability to design and implement clinical pathways and protocols for treatment of selected chronic health conditions
