Job Description

Hours: 3-4 half days in clinic, 3-4 half days in surgery, 1 full day off; Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Average patients seen: Half Day Clinic 12 – 15, Half Day Surgery 8 – 10
Call Schedule: 1:5 - Physician takes 1 full week call (Friday 8:00 a.m. - Friday 8:00 a.m.), no clinic during call week only hospital procedures and front-line call coverage

Additional Information: Join a busy, established practice with 5 experienced physicians and multiple APPs. - Practice shares 3 RNs, dedicated MA support for every physician, 2 surgery schedulers in-house

- Mentorship available from senior physician leadership
- Average 75 -100 referrals per week for general GI
- Potential Virtual Visits

- Shared collaboration between physicians for APPs in group
- Hospital-based NP sees new consults and rounding ahead of physicians

- In-Network Oncology Services offering full-spectrum, wrap-around services
- Advanced endoscopist in the group offering EUS and a wide range of pancreaticobiliary interventions

- New construction and services being offered
- Onsite Equipment: BRAVO, Pill Cam, Fibroscan,
- HD Motility and EndoFlip located at the Surgicenter

- Outreach Required: Clinics in LaPorte, Chesterton, and Valparaiso (all within 30 minutes commute)

Preferred Qualifications
- ERCP experience
- Interest in Hepatology
