Additional Information: Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Graduation from a nursing program with a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is highly desirable.
General Experience:
- 1.5 years of professional nursing experience, of which one year must have been comparable to Registered Professional Nurse III, where the applicant independently provided nursing care to patients in a clinic, hospital, or institution;
- Five (5) years of combined experience in Operating Room/Recovery Room services, and/or certification in specialty preferred.
Supervisory Experience:
- Six (6) months of professional supervisory nursing experience which included:
(1) planning and directing the work of others;
(2) assigning and reviewing their work;
(3) advising them on difficult problem areas;
(4) timing and scheduling their work; and
(5) training and developing employees.
