The Harrington Family Health Center is a community health center providing primary medical care, dental and mental health services to the residents of Washington County and eastern Hancock County, Maine. HFHC is a warm and relaxed patient-centered practice located in Harrington, Maine, a friendly rural down east community known for its blueberry barrens, lobster fishing, and recreational opportunities.
We provide about 15,000 encounters annually to a broad cross-section of the community, including low-income patients, migrant farmworkers, seasonal and year-round residents. The Health Center also is an affiliate of Tufts University Dental School, University of New England, Husson University, WCCC, Beal University, and UMaine, serving as a teaching site for students.
The Health Center is located in Harrington which is part of the heart of Downeast Maine and has some of the most affordable oceanfront property in Maine and probably in the country. There are many four-season recreational opportunities in the area and accessible to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Ellsworth, and Bangor, Maine.
