Albany Area Primary Health Care, Inc. develops partnerships with our patients in the context of family and community. As a community health center it is our goal to offer a broad range of primary care services. We strive to provide comprehensive, coordinated, and continuous care to all who access our services. In serving the community, we ensure that our patients are getting the best quality care.
AAPHC provides inpatient and outpatient services as an affiliation with two local hospitals (a 424 bed and a 200 bed facility) as well as the opportunity to teach. We anticipate adding individuals who are clinically competent, patient service oriented, and able to make a positive contribution as a member of the care team.
Albany is a metropolitan community with a slow and steady way of life. Large enough to meet the big city needs of many, but with a small town feel. A community that cares about its citizens and a place where names and faces are not forgotten.
The City of Albany's Recreation and Parks Department provides a diverse and comprehensive system of 77 park facilities throughout the City of Albany. The Albany Downtown Riverfront Master Plan was designed to pack the center of the community with diverse activities and destinations that will be an irresistible draw to residents and visitors alike.
The centerpiece of the plan is the Flint River Center, a hybrid educational facility that is part aquarium, part children's museum, part natural history museum, part botanical garden and part science museum. Designed by internationally known architect Antoine Predock.
