As the nation’s capital, Washington, DC is one of the most exciting cities in the world. From its storied history and great cultural attractions, it is a city with something for everyone. Prefer country or suburban living? DC is easily commutable from suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia offering living spaces and lifestyle options for virtually every type of family.
Washington is also home to great sports teams such as the Washington Wizards (basketball), Washington Capitals (hockey), Washington Nationals (baseball), and DC United (soccer) -- as well as some of the best primary and higher educational institutions in the country.
What’s more, DC is within reasonable driving distance of the best of the rest of the East coast including beaches and boating, majestic mountains, and nearby cities like Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York.
