At Central Virginia Health Services we are committed to and must uphold a high level of care, meeting administrative, clinical, and financial standards as part of responsibility as an FQHC. We offer comprehensive care: medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and at some sites, x-ray services. The majority of our governing board is made up of our patients – at least 51% of board members must be representative of the patients we serve.
Our Mission: We are committed to providing safe, accessible, affordable, comprehensive, high quality, and culturally sensitive care to the people we serve.
Many of its residents in Westmoreland enjoy biking, kayaking, fishing, and boating. It is comfortably within driving distance of Fredericksburg, Richmond, and Washington DC. The clinic at CVHS Westmoreland serves patients of all ages and has a balanced mix of Medicare and Medicaid patients. The clinic is in desperate need of a dentist to provide preventive and routine care with many patients having been on a waiting list for months. The dental and medical providers have had a close and collaborative relationship with medical providers on staff and are available to answer questions regarding clearance for procedures, anticoagulation management, antibiotic prophylaxis, and any other questions that may arise.
