Appomattox Area Health & Wellness Center, which opened in September 2007, is the second location in Petersburg, VA. This facility offers medical, dental, behavioral health and pharmacy services. Created in part from a generous donation from the Cameron Foundation, this location has an on-site pharmacy to serve our patients and provides dental services as well as medical services. Our staff at this location includes Dr. Robbie Lewis-Blackwell, a pediatrician and Dr. Juan Rivas, a family practice physician who speaks Spanish fluently. Dr. Sheilandice Holmes joined our staff in May of 2008 to provide dental services to patients in our service area.
Located in Central Virginia, the Town of Louisa has about 1555 residents. It has all the advantages of a small community, but is within an hour's drive from Richmond and Charlottesville, and barely two hours from Washington, D.C., the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the Atlantic Ocean.
