Our facility provides Dental, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Preventative Medicine, Chronic Disease management services to the uninsured and underinsured of the community with fees based on a sliding scale fee according to the patients’ income.  No patient in urgent need of care is turned away due to inability to pay.

McAlester is a city in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 17,783 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Pittsburg County. It is currently the largest city in the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, followed by Durant.  The town gets its name from J.J. McAlester, who later became Lt. Governor of Oklahoma and was immortalized as a character in the novel True Grit, which was then made into feature films in 1969 and 2010. 

The hometown-friendly city of McAlester, located 90 miles south of Tulsa and 120 miles southeast of Oklahoma City, is a major trade center for Southeast Oklahoma and is one of the state's oldest communities. Unique attractions include the beautiful, historic McAlester Scottish Rite Masonic Temple and the Oklahoma State Penitentiary Museum, which chronicles famous inmates, early chain gangs, and prison escapes. The nearby town of Krebs is known as Oklahoma's Little Italy and is famous for its great cuisine.
