One of the state’s largest correctional institutions, California Correctional Center (CCC) is comprised of four on-site facilities and 18 off-site conservation camps located throughout Northern California. The main campus is nestled among the picturesque foothills of Northeastern California near the charming, family-friendly community of Susanville.
Here, in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting our physicians and psychiatrists provide basic primary medical and mental health care that is anything but basic to a diverse patient population.
A wide variety of programs support CCC’s mission to rehabilitate patients and prepare them for re-entry into society. Some of the courses offered here include career and vocational training, educational opportunities, and developmental and self-help programs.
Nestled among the serene foothills of beautiful Lassen County in Northeastern California, Susanville is an affordable, family-friendly community steeped in American pioneer history. This quaint town offers all of the amenities you and your family desire.
Formerly a prominent logging and mining town, Susanville is now known for its well-preserved rustic charm, four distinct seasons, and its close proximity to a host of outdoor activities.
