DETAILS:
- Assisting physicians with patient care, performing appropriate procedures, and preparing rooms & equipment
- Escorting patients to rooms, taking history and vitals
- Cleaning exam rooms and equipment, performing sterilization procedures as necessary
- Keeping exam rooms properly stocked with medical supplies, forms, and other materials needed
- Triaging phone calls, documenting information from patients via telephone, relaying information to physicians for a response
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience REQUIRED
- CPR Certification REQUIRED
- Certification as RMA, CMA, CCMA, or NCMA REQUIRED
- 5 years of MA experience PREFERRED
