Ampla Health strives to be the employer of choice within each community we serve. At Ampla Health we are dedicated to creating an environment that supports the individual talents of each employee. As a result, we offer a seamless workforce environment that empowers our staff to apply their passion for high-quality healthcare in innovative ways to better serve our patients and their families.

Ampla Health adopted the Patient-Centered Medical Home model of health care delivery that encourages improved quality and greater involvement of patients in their own care. The Medical Home is an innovative, team-based approach to providing health care services via a partnership between the patient, his or her primary clinician, and a healthcare team. The healthcare team may include primary care or specialty physicians, community-based providers, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical assistants, registered nurses, LVNs, medical assistants, etc. Together, following evidence-based guidelines for medical care, the team will offer consistent, coordinated care and communication, and arrange for specialty care to provide the best healthcare services possible for you.

Ampla Health is a 501 (c)3 non-profit network of community-based Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) offering comprehensive medical, dental, mental health, and specialty healthcare services in Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Sutter, Tehama, and Yuba counties.

Mission Statement

"To provide the individuals and communities we serve with high quality, comprehensive, community-directed healthcare that is accessible to all and culturally and linguistically appropriate."

With locations throughout Northern California providers can enjoy all that California's northeast corner and heartland have to offer. We operate clinics in both urban and rural locations allowing you to choose the best city to fit your lifestyle.

Shasta Cascade

California’s northeast corner is an outdoor lover’s paradise, with safe-to-explore volcanoes, hushed forests, and trout-filled rivers. This is the place for blue-ribbon fishing, houseboats anchored in cool lakes, countless campgrounds, and inviting trails for hiking and mountain biking. All this, plus friendly towns like Chico and Chester, and inviting rural farms in fertile lands near the Upper Sacramento River. Redding, the region’s largest city, makes a good base, with riverfront trails, Turtle Bay Exploration Park, and elegant Sundial Bridge, designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.

Central Valley

California's heartland offers up one of the state’s most authentic and sensory-rich experiences, a chance to see—and taste—the state’s bounty at every turn. Follow oak-shaded country roads to farm stands overflowing with fresh produce, and meander along wine trails to some of the state’s most productive vineyards and low-key tasting rooms. Throughout the broad valley, stretching for over 400 miles down the middle of the state, are cities and towns rich with history, international culture, and “everyone’s welcome” charm.
