Responsibilities for this role include, but not limited to:
Diagnose and manage autoimmune and inflammatory diseases (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout) through clinical evaluation, lab interpretation, and imaging review
Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, including DMARDs, biologics, and pain management strategies
Perform joint exams, injections, and aspiration procedures to relieve symptoms and assess disease activity
Monitor disease progression and medication side effects, ensuring safe and effective long-term care
Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists (e.g., orthopedics, nephrology) for coordinated patient management
Educate patients on chronic disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence
