JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develops, implements, and monitors clinical programs and services for the Department of Psychiatry, takes steps to improve patient care outcomes/services
Communicates clearly with departmental leadership, faculty, and staff to outline roles,
responsibilities, and expectations and conduct annual performance reviews
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory (JC, CMS, OMH, DOH) requirements and standards at all times
Ensure effective management and resolution of department-specific patient complaints and critical events
Maintains proper accreditations and licensing standards

QUALIFICATIONS:
New York State license
BE/BC in General Psychiatry or Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program
