The Psychiatrist is responsible for psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacological management, and close collaboration with the staff of medical doctors, midlevel practitioners, RNs, and mental health professionals providing psychotherapy services to clients.
Community health setting with Open Access hours, same-day appointments, and walk-in availability.
Our clients are chronically ill with HIV, HCV, heart disease. lung disease and severe and persistent mental illness. Over 75% of the patient population is homeless or marginally housed.
Will serve as the collaborating MD for a full-time psychiatric NP.

Requirements:
NY State license and DEA
BC in Psychiatry
5 years+ of experience
BLS/CPR certification
Experience with addiction medicine, HIV/AIDS, and/or homeless populations preferred
Spanish speaking preferred but not required
