Compensation:

Compensation ranges from $125K to $475K depending on parttime or full-time hours worked.
Compensation plan gives consideration to your years of experience post-residency as well as specialty and sub-specialty board certifications.
Per diem opportunities also available

Manhattan and Queens opportunities! Provide direct care to patients experiencing mental health crises, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and consult with the main emergency department. All sites are academic teaching sites with residents and medical students, affording many opportunities for teaching and mentoring.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide direct psychiatric assessment and treatment of patients
Function as an integral part of a collaborative team within the emergency department
Must possess a highly collaborative and proactive approach, and demonstrate commitment to high-quality, cost-effective healthcare

QUALIFICATIONS:
New York State license
BE/BC in General Psychiatry
Strong teaching and leadership skills
Preference given to those with at least one-year post-residency clinical experience in an acute care psychiatric setting
