VIP Community Services has a job opening for a qualified Psychiatry physician in Bronx, NY

We provide individual psychiatric evaluation and clinical services to adults with mental health and substance use
Demonstrate and practice cultural competence and sophistication in delivering health care to multiple and diverse undergraduate student groups
Prepare psychiatric reports as needed
Provide short-term or time-sensitive treatment compatible with the shelter stay
Review client’s assessment evaluation to determine the progress, effectiveness, and appropriateness of treatment services offered
Participate in outreach programming

Qualifications:
Experience in implementing at least one type of evidence-based treatment (e.g. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
NYS Driving License
6 months - 1 year of experience with management of working with the homeless population served, preferably within substance abuse treatment program(s).
Spanish bilingual preferred
