The Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Ochsner Hospital for Children is a stateof-the-art 12-bed inpatient unit that provides cardiac critical care to pediatric patients from birth to adulthood. In this dedicated unit, a team of pediatric cardiac intensive care physicians works closely with a specialized team to provide around-the-clock care for our patients with both congenital and acquired heart disease.
