Provide clinical eye care services to the people of the Bering Straits Region in accordance with NSHC’s mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures while applying standards of the eye care profession.

Essential Functions:
Examine the patient's eyes to detect vision problems, diseases, and other abnormal conditions
Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses, and may prescribe drugs to treat eye disorders
Engage in patient education regarding the care and treatment of eye conditions

Qualifications:
Doctor of Optometry
2 years of experience preferred
Licensed Optometrist in Alaska
