The OB/GYN is responsible for providing medical care to women relating to pregnancy; responsible for treating, testing, diagnosing, and monitoring diseases and provides general care to women.

This position does not require OB procedures

Qualifications:
MD/ DO Degree required.
Licensed in the State of NY as an OB/GYN.
DEA Certification required.
Prior experience as an OB/GYN preferred.
Ability to demonstrate excellent independent judgment, problem-solving, analytical and collaborative skills to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, providing patient centered leadership and direction.
Must have the emotional intelligence that may include, but not limited to, patience, sensitivity, and the compassion to work with patients that may be stressed, anxious, or challenging.
Ability to work as a team.
Bilingual in English/Spanish highly regarded
Must have strong computer skills.
Must demonstrate detailed, effective writing/documentation and verbal skills.
