Ochsner - Baton Rouge has a job opening for a qualified Obstetrics & Gynecology physician in Baton Rouge, LA

OB/GYN'S will provide hospital coverage for both obstetrical and gynecological needs at Ochsner Medical Center Baton Rouge, a fullservice, 150-bed hospital and the first birthing facility in the state to be recognized as a Baby-Friendly designated birth facility. The Family Birthing Center, averaging 1,600 deliveries per year.

Responsibilities may include GYN call coverage for the ED, triage patients in Labor and Delivery, and backup office-based OB/GYN's by seeing their hospital patients when they are unavailable, start deliveries, and/or assisting in C-sections and other surgeries.
Program is supported by a group of employed OB/GYN's and a team of Certified Nurse-Midwives.
