• Assume a leadership role for pediatric prevention and wellness to include but not limited to Well Child Checks (WCC) and Immunizations
• Work in collaboration with the Vaccine Coordinator to run reports for pediatric immunizations and Well Child due lists for Nome. Assist with Village WCC /Immunization lists as needed for village travel
• Work in collaboration with the RN Pediatric Case Manager to provide support for well and chronically ill children in the region
• Provide immunizations in the Nome Primary Care Clinic
• Scheduling Pediatric appointments as needed
• Travel with the pediatric team to provide immunizations in all clinics in the region as needed
• Assist with travel and housing arrangements as needed and within scope
• Process patient referrals from NSHC and other providers, assisting with travel and housing arrangements as needed
Qualifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse or Associate of Science Degree or Technical School
Alaska LPN License
BLS
