Responsible for the patient's comprehensive preoperative care, immediate post-operative care, and stabilization for return to the ICU, Med-Surg Unit, and or home environment.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for patient's pre-operative and post-operative care
Coordinates pre-operative lab work required for individual patients, documenting and reporting pertinent results
Performs thorough and accurate continual patient assessment
Oversee vital signs, change bandages, administer necessary medications, assess overall recovery, and educate patients and their families about homecare instructions


Qualifications:
ADN required, BSN preferred
RN License
CPR, ACLS or defibrillation certification, ERT, and PMR
