Additional Info:

Assists in pharmaceutical clinical research involving direct patient care with adherence to established protocols so that projects are carried out as directed by the Institutional Review Board (IRB)
Works within scope of practice to perform clinical procedures
Collaborates with physicians and ancillary team members to ensure the quality and integrity of the research study

Job Responsibility
Participates in research project planning
Collaborates with Principal Investigator to determine patient eligibility for clinical trial, including documentation of criteria specified in the protocol
Participates in educating research participants, families, and healthcare team members on research study specifics.

Qualifications:
Texas RN license
Certification to access mediports for the administration of chemotherapy or other licensed medications
Prior experience in administering chemotherapy required
