The Medical Coordinator is responsible for the administrative activities regarding the clinical needs of the individuals. This position takes instructions, and is supervised by the Lead RN, Regional RN, or Director of Nursing, depending on the logistics of the location. He or she is responsible for the overall medical coordination of the nurse's caseloads. He or she assists Registered Nurse (RN) and LVN with numerous clinical administrative duties, thus freeing the nurse up to complete direct patient care and billable activities.
