The Supervising Physician takes a lead role in achieving excellent quality care by the NP/PA staff through effective on-site and remote supervision.
This is a responsibility that can only be reasonably done by a physician and is a clinically oriented function.
Supervises up to 4 furnishing mid-level clinicians
Reviews 10 charts per month for each PA. There is no required chart review for NPs.
Review 10% of controlled substance prescriptions written by NP/PAs.
Be available to assist with complex issues both in person and via electronic methods.
The CLIA lab license will be registered under the Supervising Physician's medical license.
The Shingletown Medical Center pharmacy license will be registered under the Supervising Physician's medical license.

Qualifications:
BC and licensed in the state of California
DEA Certificate

EMR: Allscripts

Clinic Hours: Monday Friday 9 am - 5:30 pm, Tuesday is a late start of 9:30 am
