The Director of Oral Health provides clinical care and leads HEAL's dental program across all locations.
Responsibilities include setting and enforcing policies, supervising dentists/hygienists, ensuring compliance, quality assurance, strategic planning, community representation, integration with medical/behavioral services, and overseeing operations such as staffing, scheduling, infection control, and patient access.
The role combines administrative leadership with direct patient care and strategic program growth.
Education & Experience
D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited institution
GA dental license or GA license eligible
Current DEA license
Current BLS or ACLS for healthcare
Minimum 5 years clinical experience; advanced dental training preferred
Spanish language knowledge helpful
Familiarity with FQHC preferred
Ability to travel between sites as needed
