Cal State East Bay’s Counselor Faculty in Student Equity and Success Programs (SEAS) provides intake assessment, crisis intervention, and shortterm individual, group, and couples counseling to program participants.
Works collaboratively in a multidisciplinary approach to help students achieve and maintain optimum wellness.
Designs and implements outreach programs, consults with student and professional staff, and serves as a liaison to Student Equity and Success.

Current license in California as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Ph.D or Psy.D in clinical psychology from an accredited program.
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in higher education, particularly with first generation students of color or similar affinity programs strongly preferred.
Ability to provide timelimited counseling and crisis intervention services.
Ability to design and implement outreach programs.
Demonstrated ability to connect effectively with diverse communities.
