Cal State East Bay's Counselor Faculty in Housing provides intake assessment, crisis intervention, and short-term individual, group, and couples counseling to Student Housing residents.
Works collaboratively in a multidisciplinary approach to help students achieve and maintain optimum wellness.
Designs and implements outreach programs, consults with student and professional staff, and serves as a liaison to Student Housing and Residential Life.

Current license in California as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Ph.D or Psy.D in clinical psychology from an accredited program.
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in higher education, particularly in Residential Life, strongly preferred.
Ability to provide time-limited counseling and crisis intervention services.
Ability to design and implement outreach programs for Housing residents.
Demonstrated ability to connect and communicate effectively with diverse communities.
