Additional Information: The primary functions of the Director of Behavioral Health is to plan, organize, and manage behavioral
health services, and to ensure the quality of services provided to patients.
DETAILS:
-Assists in the supervision of 10-15 behavioral Health Staff.
-Hires, trains, evaluates and supervises the performance and of behavioral health staff and, as needed, supervises clinical interns;
-Facilitates behavioral health admissions and discharges
-Provides therapy to a manageable caseload within a designated amount of time: Follow-up sessions are 30minutes, initials/consults are 1 hour.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-NY State license
-PhD, PsyD/and or LCSW
-Familiarity serving persons with intellectual & developmental disabilities desirable.
-3-5 years professional clinical practice in related field
