Additional Information:
- Assist all patients and their families through the healthcare system by acting as a medical assistant and patient advocate.
- Work with the provider and nurse with self-management goals
- Primarily provide services at community events, migrant-worker clinics on farms, and our Medical Mobile Unit (MMU) as schedule allows.
- This position is essential to Adelante's team-based primary care medical home model of care that supports coordinated, patient-centered, comprehensive health care to all.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Two or more years of experience in a clinical setting
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred
