Additional Information:
- Provides direct and indirect care in the behavioral health setting in both clinic and procedures components in unison with the Behavioral Health providers and the program manager.
- Directs patient care movement from the waiting area, Behavioral Health office, and checkout
- Provides care prior to the Behavioral Health provider's visit with the patient including health systems review, recording vitals, and medication reconciliation. Assists the medical provider's clinic visit as needed with direct patient care
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Ability to communicate in more than one language
- Electronic Health Record experience
- A minimum of one year's experience in Behavioral Health is highly preferred
